Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person elementary teacher to teach a 4th grade girl at her home in Indian Shores, FL 33785 using her Sonlight Christian homeschool curriculum. This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a private homeschool position teaching only one student Monday-Friday afternoons from 12pm-4pm that pays $50/hour ($1000/week). A female teacher is preferred, since the student is female.

Looking for a teacher who is energetic but laid back, fun/funny, and comfortable teaching all subjects at the 4th grade level to that age group. The right teacher will be consistent and engaging, but still able to hold the student accountable. Looking for a teacher who will also enjoy taking the student on occasional education-related field trips.

Teacher candidates should have a minimum BA or BS (education track preferred), and a minimum of at least one year full-time professional elementary teaching experience in the classroom. (Specific experience teaching 4th grade is preferred.) State certification is preferred, but not required if the teacher has years of professional teaching experience with the appropriate age group.

Must be tech-savvy enough to teach remotely when the family is traveling. Responsibilities include teaching and guiding the child to learn from parent-approved curriculum.
