Full Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for a middle school or late elementary teacher with either inclusion or special education experience to provide in-person private homeschool Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-12pm at a home in Culpeper, VA 22701. The teacher will privately teach one 13 year old boy who is high-functioning autistic and immunocompromised, using his public school IEP. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position three hours in the morning that pays $40/hour ($600/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year.

State-certified middle school or elementary classroom teachers with inclusion or special education experience are preferred, but we will also consider non-certified classroom teachers who have years of experience teaching 5th-7th grade students if it includes students with mild learning differences. All candidates must have a BA or BS, and minimum of 2 years full-time professional in-person classroom teaching experience in either inclusion or special education environments.

Looking for a teacher who is kind, caring & compassionate, but also focused and can keep things on track. The right teacher will be engaging, and be able to keep things interesting and present them in an interesting way. Teacher should also be intuitive and able to sense when the student might need to take a break. Must be willing and able to work with the student's school IEP. Looking for a teacher who can continue into summer and next school year.
