Teachers To Go is looking for an experienced elementary teacher to teach core subjects in-person to two children (ages 9 & 11) at their home in Kennesaw, GA 30152 Monday - Friday, either 9am-2pm or 10am-3pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time position with part-time hours (25 hours/week) that pays $55/hour ($1375/Week).

Looking for an experienced certified elementary teacher who can teach all subjects grades 2-4, using an agreed GA accredited curriculum or by creating a customized curriculum aligned to state standards. The teacher will be responsible for implementing and overseeing a full homeschool curriculum for both students.

Responsibilities include teaching and guiding the children to learn from parent-approved curricula (parent is open to collaborating with new teacher about curricula), facilitating lessons and assignments, assessing and assisting students with work and projects, documenting instructional time, filling in learning gaps in subjects that are lagging behind, and reacting and adopting education to each individual child.

The right teacher will be patient, engaging, encouraging, inspiring, flexible and adaptive to each child's needs, and love teaching. Looking for a teacher who can inspire children to want to learn, who is also available to continue working during this summer. Some prior special education or inclusion classroom experience is preferred.

Requirements: BA and minimum two years professional self-contained classroom teaching experience at the elementary level is required (some SPED or inclusion classroom experience is a plus). Must be well-organized, must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, must be able to travel to the home of the students in person in Kennesaw GA 30152 Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm or 10am-3pm, must have good communication skills, must be willing to interview in person in Kennesaw GA, and via live video chat.
